MOWINGS: 32 cuts per yearWeekly maintenance visits (52 weeks)
FEBRUARY:
1. Begin pruning trees and shrubs (late February – depending on weather)
MARCH:
1. Treat beds to prior mulching with granular herbicide (Snap Shot, Treflan, etc.)
2. Fertilize all trees and shrubs with Nursery Special slow release 12-6-6 inches
3. Re-mulch all bed areas at an approximate thickness of to 1.5 inch
4. Finish pruning trees with shrubs (remove dead wood)
5. Fertilize lawn areas with crabgrass preventer and high nitrogen
APRIL:
1. Deep root fertilize trees with 8-12-12 slow releases fertilizer2. Install spring annual after bulbs have bloomed
MAY:
1. Spot spray and/or hand weed planted areas
2. Remove dead blooms from annual beds
3. Prune flowering shrubs after blooms fade
4. Fertilize annual plantings
5. Fertilize lawn areas with high nitrogen/weed killer
JUNE:
1. Treat beds to control weed growth in planting areas( spot spray as necessary ) Weed beds weekly
2. Remove dead blossoms from annual beds
JULY:
1. Treat beds to control weed growth in planting areas/weed beds weekly
2. Spot spray weeds in lawn area as needed
AUGUST:
1. Treat beds to control weed growth in planting areas/weed beds weekly
2. Second treatment of herbicide beds prior to seeding of turf
3. Fertilize lawn with 24-5-11
SEPTEMBER:
1. Spot weed planted areas
2. Aeration and overseed with Lesco Transition Blend Fescue or customer request
3. Re-mulch all flower beds
4. Install seasonal annuals (pansies, etc.) and fertilize
OCTOBER:
1. Apply fall fertilizer 18-24-12
2.Remove dead leaves
NOVEMBER:
1. Remove dead leaves
DECEMBER:
1. Remove dead leave off lawn and flower bed
2. Fertilize lawn areas with 32-3-8
